Actually that has been disproven. I think the number one factor in determining dick size is height. If you are tall you tend to have big feet, though.

I had a threesome with a guy and his girlfriend once and his dick was literally 8 inches and was insanely thick. I am average height and have a slightly larger than average dick and still couldn't compare. He was shorter.

Although, I think technically around average dick size is probably better.
