I don't feel like selling physical once I started holding it my hand. Holding physical gold is not a big deal to me as I'm a jeet. Almost everyone here owns physical gold.

The most common silver coins have a spread of around 10%. In some ways that sounds pretty cheap for a conversion from worthless money to valuable metal and then back again, especially considering we're talking about what amounts to just a tip or two.

I think 100oz silver - 10oz gold is a better ratio for long term savings. silver is very bulky and heavy. I also wouldn't want more than like 4-500oz of silver total. just too much space and weight. I believe the 100-1 ratio is for people betting on silver mooning. personally I think gold and silver will maintain the same ratio but will both rise in value dramatically over the next 20 years, as they have in the previous 20.

I can keep buying silver for years. I can only lose this gamble if demand drops enough or if mining ramps up enough to satisfy demand. BIN, I don't bother with auctions. my trick with ebay has always been to explore alternative keywords to see if someone doesn't know how to list what they are selling properly, or to browse new listings with various keywords. I rarely get good deals on bulk though, this ended up being a little over 30oz at $760.

Example: when it comes to things like R&M, it's a mostly kids' thing. You might outgrow it, though as a kid I really like Asterix and still do enough to be not terribly embarrassed about having a set of figurines. Star Wars stuff might swamp the market in coming years as more movies and coins come out - is this good (lots of collector opportunity) or bad (it becomes cliche)?

But more importantly, if you really like what you bought, all those thoughts don't matter. Certainly what *others* think is completely irrelevant.

But if you're unsure about the purchase, I strongly urge you to solicit opinions *before* you make the purchase.
