Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter employ thousands of people. Running these companies involves being on conference calls or in meetings with a few senior managers to talk about how things are going.
And since he's the big boss, he gets to decide when those meetings start and end or whether to attend at all unless it's some important customer he has to schmooze.

He doesn't. The question is why does he/his handlers want the public to imagine that he simultaneously runs these companies and has time to shitpost/game.
We already know that American propagandists love Marvel capeshit, so it seems likely his handlers are CIA, since the CIA loves capeshit. But given the clumsy way Elon inserts himself in twitter conversations with information too on the nose, it seems possible that it's another ahem, directorate, like the NSA.
Of course, he may be controlled by outright combatants against the US, like Israel, but his general good nature in twitter comments suggests he's controlled by ostensibly good guys.
