> Proof of work but instead of mining on your ASICs you buy a coin called ASIC and stake it for PulseBitcoin.

Geez. Idk whoever came up with such an innovation, but it's truly remarkable how you can mine with your virtual coins. It's like you don't mine at all even though the website calls it mining, oh wait...

Not even a fork but a scam with no power of work. This is going to be hilarious to watch.

Kek Biztards always late to the party. They can still buy the ASIC miner coin to mine it.

I don't really want to shill but I was wondering about the lack of discussion about PLSB on here. Same with PLSD (PulseDogecoin) after it launched in April this year. I was here for the previous bear market. Back then, biz would likely have talked about something new like PulseBitcoin much more.

The code is immutable. Do not have any expectations of profit. This is a community effort to make the eco system (PLSB, ASIC, PLSD, soon maybe "PLSL"?) successful.

The name PulseBitcoin is twofold: Bitcoin is obviously widely recognized even by people not into crypto. Pulse might also become a household name if Pulsechain launches and if Pulsechain is succesful. So even though the name suggests it's Bitcoin on Pulsechain, for now it's Bitcoin on Ethereum.

"Mining" is used to show the similarities in mechanics to the original Bitcoin but without "destroying the environment". In fact, you stake ASIC for 30-day intervervals and you mint PLSB as a reward. When you end your "miner" after 30 days, a small percentage of ASIC gets burned and the remaining ASIC can be restaked. For the next few months, ASIC is still having full mining power before the power gets cut in half. This halvening event mimics Bitcoin's 4-year cycle but happens more frequently.
