What was biz really like during this period?

During the 2021 bullrun, biz was swamped with new pajeet shitcoin shills, bots and crypto moonbros every hour trying dump their stacks onto gullible buyers hooked on the hopium, At this time, I asked what biz was like during the previous bear market. People assured me that biz is awesome during bear markets. Less moonbois and shitcoin bots, more deeper macro economic discussions. And in those times those who stuck around got to discover the true gems that would moon in the next bull market.

But in this current bear market, biz has become nothing like what was described. Shitcoin pajeets and bots are evermore abundant but now constantly spam the board with warnings of imminent collapses, while moonbois now fud their own coins and perpetuate community infighting. It's clear they're all trying to get their shorts and low buy orders filled. There's rarely any informative and insightful posts. There's even less chance of finding next bull market gems.

So I ask again, what was biz really like during the 2018-2019 bear market?

Like 80% of the catalog strictly Chainlink threads all day every day. Absolute golden times, makes sense since LINK was literally the best performing asset in the entire world at that times. New OC every single day, peak shitposting and peak /biz/ really.

The board was INSANELY slow. I remember it quite well. The board would stay the same for sometimes days on end, no threads would slide and barely any activity. There were barely any bots and pajeets or reddit tourists. I doubt that this will ever happen again since the bots will never go away now that crypto has been "discovered".
