the 2018 bottom, for around 6 months was just persistent tether fud. i remember it well.

We are probably going to do a painful grind to $13-$15k to reach the true bottom, it will be soon though.

It’s possible but we dont really have to. We had a capitulation and plenty of people, more than enough, have given up and hate crypto or wont touch it now.

I'm just going by this chart so it's not really based on anything concrete, but the general feeling right now based on crypto communities I'm in feels like anger. Regardless I started DCA'ing into only BTC for the moment since it doesn't matter too much in the long run whether we grind down another 15% or so to risk missing out. Alts are probably going to get nuked once more which will coincide with the absolute bottom.

Bitcoin dominance is too low for this to be the bottom.

I didn't say this was the bottom I said we are close to the bottom. The dumps are getting weaker and weaker, like FTX barely moved the price. Most people left are just waiting for a catalyst that will reverse the current trend, hence the Fed pivot meme.

tether fud will be back right after binance collapses
except it's not fud, tether is a scam too

you aren't wrong
there are more people aware of crypto now
but there might be another shelf it falls to like in 2019

why btc dominance being high means it is the bottom?

He’s a benjamin brainlet.
BTC dominance is useless. Almost anyway. Definitely for macro. Thousand and thousands of tokens are being created watering it down with wash trading

Can confirm been here since 2013, am a dev myself, capitulated this last weeks dump. Looking for a job now. Preferably web2

this chart is a meme, it's just cisco systems sell off after 1000x pump, it's slowly recovering to ATH again after 22 years from the high

why 13k?
why not 3K? 9k? 14k?
imagine thinking you can call the bottom based on anything other than random number guessing.

BTC price movements are getting smaller while the volume is slowly increasing, make of that what you will.

>> No.52932765

BTC dominance is decreasing because thousands of alts are added every month, not because existing alts outperform BTC.

BTC dominance will keep going down but existing alts will dump hard against BTC

>> No.52932793

>>52932765
BTC dominance in relation to only the top 100 coins of the previous year (to account for coins dumping and new ones pumping) might be a more interesting metric.
