do you ever worry about ending up homeless?

>> No.52927102

with the cost of housing rising soon nobody will be able to afford a home. Even those who already own one will be crushed by property tax, maintance cost, and whatever

That's not how markets work. Housing would cost much less if people weren't willing to pay the ridiculous asking prices.

Braindead 4chan parasite you spent your whole life deepthroating the boots of your masters as the typical temporarily embarrassed millionaire now it is too little and too late to worry about your class. You will reap what you sowed and will be indirectly executed by exposure like you always wanted

It's Chinese

Chinese get government loans to buy out American houses at retarded prices
Also the influx of Ukranian refugees all get gibs and somehow all have 1 million+ to buy penthouses with

The money isn't based off of any real job or earnings

I am more concerned with how it got this bad. Even 5 years ago there weren't homeless ghettos and pallet towns everywhere. Now I can't go anywhere without walking through someone's house. Who let all this happen and thought "yeah, I am doing a bang up job here"?! Are they blind?

People don't became homeless because they can't afford rent (those people just end up sleeping in their cars for a week or 2). They became homeless because they chose to spend their money on drugs rather than rent.

>> No.52927753

It's impossible to be homeless in the US as long as you don't do any of the following

If you can't afford to rent a place, that place is not for you. Find somewhere cheaper. Go back to your parent's house, idk.

Look. I am 31 now. When I was 21, I had some good savings and a career in IT. So I thought, maybe it could be a good time for me to pursue graduation (I started to professionally code when I was 15). I moved out to a city that had a nice university and manage to find a job. For the next 5 years, I barely manage to buy a shirt because I just can't afford it. Rent, internet, electricity, this all made a huge hole in my pocket. And to make things better, in 2015 the president of the banana republic where I live shit the floor so bad that the economy collapsed throwing my country into a recession and me and half my uni colleagues lost their jobs.
From breaking even to going into debt was a matter of months. Fortunately, I had my parents come back to their house. Manage to finish my graduation by riding 120km every night on a motorcycle and after some time I manage to pay my bills (the company that brought my debt from the bank offered me a really cheap deal. Something like 15% of the original debt).
Now I am almost with the money in my pocket to buy my sweet piece of land and FINALLY leave my parent's home.

Does it suck to be a 31yo living with your parents? YES, ESPECIALLY IF YOU USED TO LIVE ALONE. But is not worth moving out just to live like a slave. If you can't save money while paying rent, move out. You are one bad event from ruining your life.

Dude that's harsh.
I was living in my car for awhile. Low on money. Low on gas. Sleeping in my car in parking lot. Get woke up around 3am by angry security guards screaming at me to gtfo of their parking lot
Scary. Not fun. Being poor, hungry, tired, dirty. Cold and desperate

As a 21 year old zoomer I question if the way of the future is plans of fiberboard homes for the fake rich and tents for the poor. The poor simply do not get to live in a house anymore, priced out forever. There's already school bus stops outside homeless encampments so this feels pretty permanent if you ask me. It's not uncommon in america to attend an inner city school and meet homeless kids.

The Hasidic Jews scam the fuck out of the welfare system and the regular Jews protect them. The FBI is regularly busting Hasidic Jews for taking all sorts of government money while owning multimillion dollar real estate. It doesn’t get much press for obvious reasons. Keep in mind the average Hasidic family has 8 children leaching off the system. Regular Jews pretend to hate them but view them as the full embodiment of Talmudic Jewry (aka pure form parasites)

Every day. By 2025 or so most people will find themselves hungry and homeless. Even if you own a home outright, the property taxes will be so high that you will be unable to afford to live in "your" home. Then Jews will swoop in and buy it for pennies on the dollar.

They might as well dismantle all American train systems and just put one loooooong homeless commie block on the tracks. Trains are effectively juse breeding dens of drug addiction and homeless schizophrenia. I envy those countries that are able to have high class, CLEAN train systems.
