Tesla pumped to a retarded valuation and then diluted and raised shitloads of capital to build new factories. They've had big production growth thanks to that, but it's not sustainable. In the end they can only sell as many cars as people want to buy. They've made more money selling stock than they've ever made selling cars.
The brand is strongly associated with Elon himself, and he's been actively killing that image for months now. They've recognized profits on selling "full self driving" packages which are arguably fraudulent considering the car model is 8 years old now and the product doesn't even work - a major lawsuit risk. The rest of the profits are a combination of government subsidies and carbon credits, currently paid for by competitors who are now rushing into the EV space themselves.
Meanwhile, the stock technicals look terrible and all the pre-covid pump investors are rapidly seeing massive gains disappear. Momentum cuts both ways.

Honesty I don't know why I even bother putting effort into a response though. Let's be honest: You're either completely ignorant or intentionally trolling if you're promoting TSLA at this point. Either way, I don't expect further replies.

we could have already bottomed, thats the problem we wont know until later. with that being said, there does seem to be people talking about more downside, so be cautious. dollar cost average slowly over the next 3-12 months. these are way cheaper prices than a year ago, so its a better entry point, and if you are a long term investor(decades+) the difference between SPY at 3200 vs 3800 isn't humongous. but it is VERY hard to slurp the exact bottom, despite all the bearish news, the market has held up better than anyone expected. with consistent drip feeding you will end up with a decent price. buy when the vix is high, when bull bear sentiment is peak bear, when put to call ratio is high. markets bottom before the recession ends, before unemployment and GDP is at its worst since the market is forward looking.
