Insider here. There will be a MAJOR BLACK SWAN announcement next week. Fuck it, I'll leak it here because you guys are solid: China just achieved quantum computing. This will have severe geopolitical consequences for the global balance of power for the following decades. All banking, government, institutions, etc. will be affected for years to come. a digital world war 3. But more importantly for biz, it means all of crypto will be wiped out to zero in an instant. Although in the grand scheme of things, this is nothing, compared to the global famines, wars, collapses and unrest that will follow... Just giving you guys a heads up because you helped me before. Good luck.

kek awful larp
China can't even produce their own chips without being 3 nodes behind, which is why TSMC keeps Taiwan safe from invasion.

China would literally be in the stone age if they had to rely on their own home-grown tech.

Nobody will ever "achieve" so-called "quantum computing" anywhere in the entire universe because it's absolute nonsense as it's based on non-existent fantasy physics, as opposed to real physics.

Below text is relevant, copied from: https://archived.moe/biz/thread/43646226/#43647443

There is no such thing as a "quantum computer" (the "computers" that are claimed to be "quantum" are not) and there never ever will be one. Because there is no such thing as quantum-anything. There is no such thing as "quantum physics". Reality / the universe is not "quantum". It does not consist of imaginary "quantum" nonsense. The universe, which is primarily electrical in nature and consists 99.999% of plasma, and is purely physical * and consists of three dimensions (no, time isn't a dimension), operates purely on classical physics and plasma physics. Nothing else. Whatsoever. And the electric force is the dominant and driving force behind everything (btw it is 1000 billion billion billion billion times stronger than gravity). Contrary to what jews seeking to derail science and retard scientific progress will tell you, and contrary to what NPCs will parrot, nothing whatsoever is "quantum". Hence there will never ever be a "quantum computer". You can safely short "quantum computers" with an infinite leverage and never get liquidated, because they will never ever exist – because they can't, as the "quantum physics" they're supposed to operate on does not exist.

electric universe theory is an internet conspiracy theory

the scam usually takes the form of youtube videos where the host takes a richard heart type approach of being "convincing" using extreme smugness and confidence gaming his weak willed audience. the electric universe videos will often include screenshots of real scientific studies but if you actually look into those studies yourself (the intended audience almost never does this) you'll find they have nothing to do with what the video host says they're about.

so in the end the host of such a video will over time develop a naive audience who will believe everything he says and think everyone else is lying to them. they will never fact check the host. and they will inherit the hosts smug dismissive attitude towards all the "haters" who don't agree. effectively this forms a cult, which can be used as a customer base for book sales, lectures, courses, and just to expand an internet presence and feed attention and idolization upon the often narcissistic and sociopathic cult leader who lives for the attention.

it doesn't help that the many debunking videos are posted by the exact kind of onions boy bluepill "i love science" types that everyone hates. so most challengers to the eu theory are dismissed by the cult.

anyways having a quantum computer doesn't mean much. they've been around for years now. what matters is scaling. at the current rate of scaling the quantum computers are far from becoming a threat in the immediate future. the plan in the bitcoin community is that when that threat seems closer they will switch to making quantum resistance features more of a priority. there are approaches that can be taken in time to upgrade and prepare bitcoin and other cryptos for quantum resistance.

china would have to vastly, vastly, outstrip the rest of the world and produce, decades before anyone expected it was possible, a quantum computer powerful enough to be a threat. unlikely to happen.

if it did happen then bitcoin is the least of our concerns. all tradfi also runs on encryption. everything does. it would be the undoing of every bank, credit card, crypto, internet password, email provider, etc etc etc it would all come undone. black swan is an understatement, it could very well be an apocalypse.

chinas word isn't well trusted and for good reason, even if they announced such a thing they would have to prove it since its an absurd claim from a known liar with massive implications and nobodies believing it without some serious proof. but i could see china attempt to pretend they have this for the face and attention.

>>52922745
another thing i'd like to add. knowing the power of a quantum computer, if you had one. would you tell anyone? if people knew it existed it could tear the world apart. but keep it secret and you can have a massive advantage over the rest of the world that nobody knows about.
