Markets are closed right now so I'm debugging my scripts (to make sure they don't repaint) against the 1m BTC chart.

we haven't discovered that yet, although we have some pretty good theories. you missed the point which is that if you need a creator to explain the existence of the Universe, infinite regression means you can keep asking what created the creator, then what created that, and so on and so on. if you need to break logic to create God as "an effect without a cause", so that he can make the Universe, you might as well just cut out the middle man and say the Universe always existed. it's simpler with less steps involved. if you can have some sort of "effect with no cause" then you might as well apply that to the Universe itself instead of adding unnecessary steps.
