I've read a bit about it just because it's being pushed on social media so much, the only thing particularly interesting to me is who was shorting it. Kerrisdale shorted them last year and they were one of the firms that got devices seized in the DOJ probe alongside Citron. That said, the fate for most of these stocks is to get cellarboxed away and killed quietly where nobody can see them. A stock that goes OTC is basically already slated for extermination, many companies for many years have tried a variety of tactics for force closure of shorts with mixed results and none of them resoundingly successful. Mass registration of stock is probably one of the few tactics that has not been tried before in a legitimate company, the logistics of doing it are generally not feasible for most companies because of how obscure the process is and how most of the investors simply don't care enough to do it.

MMTLP is a very interesting case and those who say that it is a dead end fail to understand what Privatization has done to the situation and the liabilities which go with it.
