make a seed + a memorized passphrase. Store the seeds on a bunch different pieces of paper in different places. If you have a strong passphrase it won't matter if people find it, they can't use it, you can just use a shit load of different copies and locations for safety. You can use something like the EFF dice lists to make easy to remember passphrases.
