Over the course of the next week. Over 80% of the shorts on BSV are going to be closed. These shorts have held down BSV due to few exchanges holding it and the thin order books.
Bitfinex(where these shorts are) do not have the necessary BSV to close these shorts.
As a reayltnthwy must buy them back across different exchanges which like insaid have thin oder books. The resulting mini pumps will eventually lead to BSV being able to breathe freely for the first time in years.
With the market tanking people will be looking for safety and BSV has seen consistent green days.
The penultimate hope is this price action pushes BSV into the minds of normies. Once this happens places like plebbit become rife with arguments of BSV vs BTC and then eventually BSV vs all of crypto.

this guy is just too obviously exposed as not being a satoshi, and hence being a scammer. bsv won't go anywhere beyond the short squeez, if short squeez story is even true. the whole BSV on reddit, and battling BTC will never happen.

I've seen evidence of both arguments, but either way he has re-established the original Bitcoin protocol and is pursuing the original intention of p2p cash.
The same was by BTC maxis back when Ethereum first showed up.
Plebbit will tear themselves apart when just a little bit of knowledge is sprinkled on their ignorant minds.

This exactly is what I'm trying to express to the groups I'm in. Admittedly, I do think Craig is Satoshi, he simply knows too much about the protocol, and always has, but ultimately it doesn't matter - he's restoring real BTC, which unironically does make every "L1", and altcoin, completely irrelevant (dyor). There's a reason maxi's back in 15/16 called ETH and every altcoin a shitcoin, because they truly were in comparison to real Bitcoin. They still are shitcoins in comparison to real Bitcoin, and if he's going to resurrect the dream, then to me, if he's not Satoshi he might as well be.

That's pretty much how i see it too.The Hijacking of the original rendition of Bitcoin was down to what the media would call ''special interest groups'' namely, the BIS,AXA insurance and Visa.
Everybody knows Bitcoin was invented to take away the necessity for these types of useless and frankly parasitical companies, but not many know how Bitcoin was supposed to do it. Thereby the ''store of value'' narrative can be perpetuated.

Would that be Lighting Networks ?
Owned by AXA ? The Insurance company that is control of more derivatives on planet earth than any other private entity ?

Oh and they own Coinbase, Brave Browser, Coindesk, Etherscan, Genisis, Greyscale, Gyft, Kraken, Ledger, Ripple, Shapeshift,Z-Cash

30% of the BSV required to cover the short is sitting on bitfinex and can be covered in a single trade on BSV/USD

fuck anon may actually be right. looking at bsv a little more in depth. sorry for doubting anon.

of course if anon bought the BSV/USD position, removing this liquidity from the market.. now that may make things really interesting. Perhaps coupled with buying the remaining liquidity on Bittrex.

BSV Short Squeeze is coming alongside a collapse in Tether.

Two linked events. They are going to try and crash the markets again to prevent a BSV pump. They will stop at nothing to kill Satoshi. You've been warned.

Bitcoin BTC IS the fork, not BSV.
BSV uses the original Bitcoin protocol
BTC forked when it added Segwit. Segwit IS a fork of the original Bitcoin.
