hey biz, about time someone talked about starting a business instead of shitcoins.

I've recently started an all inclusive SMMA agency, from lead generation all the way through the sales funnel to a customer. However, I'm having trouble attracting my first client.
Should I offer a 7 day free trial? lower my fee? improve my website? any tips biz?

Bumping to kill a memecoin thread.
Consider asking people who work in the industry / do anything similar to this line of work. Maybe try going to a networking event for tech/marketing/whatever.

Most local businesses in my area, across multiple niches I've researched, do not currently run Facebook ads and never have. Social media ads are highly profitable and I am capable of delivering that profit to these businesses, so why wouldn't they be interested?

Iman wasn't the one who gave me the idea, he's just a figure I knew people would recognize. It isn't a scam, most clients receive 2 - 3x+ return first month. why waste the energy to type out your uneducated and dogshit opinion?

Good ideas dont always sell out instantly. Do you have any advice to give or are you just here to be a shithead? If it's the latter, don't respond.

you have to admit its amusingly ironic you are asking us how to advertise your advertising agency
my best advice? start small next time and don't go all in until you have a proof of concept

The reason I do not run ads for my own services is because SMM is for B2C products and services. My services are for business owners, who are unlikely to spend time on social media.
Yes, I admit the irony. However for a board dedicated to business, I am surprised at the lack of advice for someone trying to be entrepreneurial.

Are you struggling finding potential clients or convincing them? Seems like you want to work with your local businesses, phone calls or in person visit should do the job with the adequate speech I believe

SMMA market is already saturated. Literally a Nigerian from Nigeria can do the same in Fiverr for $5.

Don't offer a 7 day trial.
Don't lower your fee.
If the big guys don't do it you shouldn't either, don't grovel and beg. Stand firm on your services. You ARE good right?

Do improve your site. Make it as easy as possible for boomer businesses to understand your value as a partner to their business.

"Why should I hire you, how does this process look like, why does it cost this much, what are your services like and why I need them" answer these clearly and concise.

Also, if cost IS an issue. Offer these services in terms of tiers. Low enough for clients to dip their toes and see some results and then lure them in with your harder hitting services.

The biggest thing when drawing in new business isn't cost, it's about establishing trust. A business is willing to shell out just a bit more for your services if they can trust you to deliver results. Any client that bitches and moans about the cost of services is not a client worth having because they'll make your life miserable when it comes to billing hours.

Think of it this way. Why should they hire YOU over some 3rd worlder that will run ads for them for pennies. That's your in.

Best of luck fren.

Have you tried offering your services over the phone, in-person visit, mail? Reaching out to potential clients and explain the benefits of your services would be a good option as small businesses aren't to tech savvy when it comes to marketing. I've told my mother about advertising her small business but she was fine her current workflow. Point being is that small businesses are sometimes reluctant to go the extra mile for a multitude of reasons, but it would help if you'd break down to benefits of SMM to potential clients.
