the Iraq War was the first cause of high gas prices. Gas was well over $3 per gallon from like 2007 onwards. Barely dipped during Obama presidency. It really wasn't til Trump that we had relatively cheap gas prices again. And then covid happened then the recovery plus Biden and that made prices go up, then Putin
