This. These houses are for the 1% for whom $2m is easily affordable. Most of that price is for location rather than the apartment itself, this property is a block away from the Bay and is immediately adjacent to one of the nicest parks in the city, while also being downtown with access to anything you could possibly want. Getting a cheaper house in the suburbs would be a downgrade.
