If you got 200k you can buy Societe generale Perpetual bonds.

They are old bonds that never expire and today pay around 8%.

Socgen has been around 160 years as a company and it's backed by the french government so holding them for 5 or 10 years should be really quite safe. Those bonds survived the 2008 financial crysis too.

Also they are quite liquid with 1.2 billions in issuance.

The only issues is that the minimum purchase is 200k. So they are only available to sophisticated investors.

They are USD denominated and as of now i consider them a very good pick for yield seekers. Better than dividend stocks as you don't have to worry about the stock value. Just get paid your fixed percentage and if you want to sell them just hold them till the fed throttles back rates and you will also get a profit as people pay a large premium for such yields usually. Now because of the fed hikes you can get them for the face amount.

I sold Tootsie Roll (ticker: TR) on this pump which was due to the holiday seasons (halloween -> thanksgiving -> christmas). Not much left and it's not that profitable of a company.
