This is just like asking is there any future for FTs - fungible tokens, to be precise? Of course NFTs have future. If you think NFTs sector is not functioning well like before, well, you have to take a look at the whole global market. Apart from the top few, every current NFT project is dead. You can literally look at volume and fees to see this. NFTs won't die though because they're too compelling of a scam, so if there is another bull run (in years, probably) a fresh new batch will be back to take your money.

this is going to be a nightmare to implement, but it will be very cool. It really is the old problem of mapping a digital item to a physical one. Fully digital items will still be viable, but the ones im focused on are artist specific or are fully on chain. Fully on-chain assets are the real cool stuff I think.

90% of all tokens have no value
i remember one NFT project, they were talking about the floor price for their collection, how it was at 1200 ADA. But when one looks at the trading history, not one single NFT had been sold at that price. So for all I cared, the market had decided that the NFT was definitely not worth that much, developer claims be damned.
Its the same thing with my friend who collects pokemon sets. I asked him how much he thought his collection was worth, and he said roughly $5000. I told him its only worth $5000 if he can sell it for $5000. Until then, its all theoretical.
