ok give it to me straight. I have 8k linkies and early access but I still haven't staked yet. I don't plan on selling but I still like to have the flexibility if I want to. On the other hand, seeing all this fud before general access means people are gonna go crazy for the remaining slots.

So should I stake or not, what do I do?

I've been thinking since yesterday and haven't closed the stake.link tab. I almost staked 3k but turns out my ledger needed updating so I wasn't able to.

Do you need access to that liquidity? If you have an emergency or there is societal strife will you be okay without the money?

There is inherent smart contract risk for any contract. Chainlink is best in class but its still the first iteration

If there is a rally and we pump drastically are you actually okay with potentially missing the entire thing? I.E. It pumps and retraces before you can act

Is 4.75% APR worth the inability to control your own assets for 12 months.

You just kind of need to answer all these questions for yourself and then decide what amount makes sense.

I personally did 0 because it just doesn't make sense yet but maybe you have other variables to consider

I sold 4k last year at $33 to purchase a flat, haven't touched it before or ever since. I know for a fact that I will not sell next year either but like you said missing out on a potential pump would hurt.

Unless emergency arises and you need the money or worst case scenario the staking contract is compromised in some way, which unlikely imo. I just err on the side of caution heavily.

If you have other assets and this isn't everything you own then its probably not a huge deal but overall locking large percentages of your net worth for 12 months is bad risk management.

Do you have decent cashflow coming in otherwise as well?

You sound like you have a grasp on most of the variables you are dealing with so Godspeed in whatever you choose.

People kept saying I had an agenda. I do. I legit care about people and its because my body is naturally producing large quantities of DMT frequently based on various processes and steps I've been following for years.

Only stake as much as you trust them to not delay unstaking indefinitely, that's the real risk you expose yourself to. I'd stake like 500 LINK just to be part of it, took them long enough to finally release something
