Fair enough. I went into experimental science (radiochemistry), and can't do wfh because one colorless liquid won't pour itself into another colorless liquid. I didn't realize in college that scientists don't make much in comparison to engineers, but chemE seemed suicidally boring, and I genuinely like being an academic researcher so maybe I makde the right choice in the wnd. My specific skillset gives me options with glowie organizations in the states, and it seems like everything else, even humanities benefits from the less regulated economy here. Also, you can deduct the interest on a mortgage from your taxes here in the US, which you can't do in CA, so there is no incentive to buy a house/land up there. Move here and chill in a southwestern state and shoot guns/have bonfires (and vote pro-gun). We can be frens.
