yep, got a few thousand, avg price is around $3, pretty fucking gay. got some free acre and staked it which is now worth about $35, perhaps this will save me in the long term. basically 0% returns on staked bnt, also very very gay. perhaps the new AMM with rearranged letters of "Bancor" called "Carbon" will bring in new suckers so us less-recent suckers can get out in a better position.

gut told me not to. link deficit was down to 33% from 50% a month ago.

I'm surprised the LINK deficit is decreasing. My haircut was at 45%. Its at 35% now.

>> No.52746424

>>52746232
Because they forced the remaining v2 with a lesser deficit to join v3.
And I guess all the v2's that left before force migration also wrote of some deficit by accepting losses.

took around 12% haircut on my REQ stack a few months ago and now it's 50% kek. seems like the total deficit is getting larger every day.

The new trading system they are setting up Carbon will fix Bancors problems. Read its white paper.

>Yeah, but there is a reason for that. Think it can get any better with just fees?
i keep track of the voting and comments in the tg, the holders basically vote only in their short-term best interests in most cases and still call for the foundation to bail them out. i don't agree with bailouts and the majority of the problems stem from before the collapse and all the insane rewards that all the same people voted for without thinking, "gosh, how are we going to ever pay for this?" it will be YEARS before there is any positive movement.
>>52746545
>The new trading system they are setting up Carbon will fix Bancors problems...
...if anyone uses it. It still uses BNT and it's just an anagram for a name that has been drug though a steaming pile of shit. I'm hopeful, but that's about it.

>> No.52746768

>>52745610
yep. i'm still hanging out. If you've held out this long why not just wait? Unless you think the bullrun is right around the corner, but at this point it seems like it is what it is

>> No.52746790

>>52746615
bailout is probably the better play here because if there new system doesn't fix it then what's the alt? Seems like there isn't much faith from the dubious (((foundation))). I can get no bailout right now as the core problem is obviously still there, but with this new system coming, it's gay as hell that the loaded foundation won't come in and bail out the last of the LP.

>> No.52747053

>>52746790
There isn't going to be a bailout. Bancon made it clear they lost our funds, not their 100% separate funds.

>> No.52747080

>>52746768
First I waited for the company to make right on their Instant loss protection promise. When it was clear that wasn't happening. I waited for V2+V3, what is there to wait for now?
And how bancor have acted through all of this is more of a reason to cut and run before it gets worse. They don't care about promises or user funds, just their very separate foundation.

>> No.52747106

>>52747080
You wait to see if their new model generates enough income. If that wasn't what you were waiting for then idk what the fuck you were waiting for. If you're in Link this is probably a good place to get out but I'm still overall bearish on the market and expect a bigger move down so I don't have any real reason to pull out.

Personally seems dumb to take the haircut now than when you could have come out ahead months ago, but that's my honest opinion. Don't let me make your financial decisions, I've already rebought my positions to make myself whole

>> No.52747211

I waited in v2 untill the other day then took 14% cut.

>> No.52747679

>bailout is probably the better play here
this is the entire problem with the community's thinking. the COMMUNITY voted to release INSANE rewards resulting in UNSUSTAINABLE inflation. when the COMMUNITY realized this, they scream BAIL OUT OUR FUCK UP!! fuck that, reap what you sow. the DAO and community voters made their bed and should have known full well this could have happened, it's not the foundation's problem.

t. not a foundation employee just a BNT holder

>the DAO and community voters made their bed and should have known full well this could have happened, it's not the foundation's problem
in other words, the protocol absolutely did not fail, and would have happily minted BNT into oblivion to serve up IL to the bankrun that happened due to Luna wrecking Celsius and Celsius having to unstake huge stakes in pools. they chose to shut down the death spiral before it destroyed itself. this was 100% a result from the rewards that were minted for v2.1 stakers. there is no free ride, and if you believe there is then you probably deserve what you get.

>> No.52747919

We all just thought it.
And you've now confirmed it.
Your company and damage control is piss poor.

of course you'd think that, anyone who doesn't vote for your own best short-term interests must be the enemy. Bancor is the gold-standard case study of why fucking retards shouldn't be allowed to vote. Go look at the TG and read through all the whining after the IL halt, and then go read all the comments from earlier when they were all voting for all the rewards and digging their own grave and come back here and give me a compelling argument why people need to be protected from their own actions and we can continue this debate.

I really don't see what the problem is. IL still occures on Uniswap and every other Dex when you provide liquidity . It's in no way some kind of theft by Bancor. A unique feature was paused because of a exploit. Big woop.

>> No.52750057

Then why did they sell deposited tokens immediately after they were deposited. They sold TKN knowing they would mint BNT into oblivion to pay losses. Then they decided not to cover losses. They were very aware this was happening and still excepted deposits. They are criminals who lied about the risks involved and they will be facing prosecution for it
