I don't know where the market will go and when. It's not as simple as using most basic logic.
To show it in math terms, you might figure out what's the result of linear equation with little effort. In the big picture it doesn't matter though, because macro economy is as complex as Standard Model Lagrangian equation.

Just like with stocks, you need to evaluate on per company basis (check their balance sheet, figure out if given market will still provide enough demand). Usually they specialize in a sector of economy, i.e. housing, hospitals, prisons, warehouses. They usually don't appreciate a lot (I know, GEO exists). You basically buy them for stable dividend. That is unless they run out of money.
It's considered to be somewhere between stocks and bonds I think, with higher yield than bonds that can be considered as risk premium.

I never invested in one thouth because I I remember 2008 and I'm retarded, so don't listen to my advice.

The death of nations/cities takes decades anon. California is the quintessential rich kid in that they inherited a massive amount of wealth due to geographic reasons.
Look at South Africa. It’s taken them 70 years to decay back to mud huts. Why? Because physical infrastructure is designed to last decades, so once the collapse starts the indicators tend to lag by 30-40 years. First the roads are bumpy, then patched, then back to bumpy. In which the city doesn’t get the money to fix. So they become dilapidated. Then finally impassable. This is further compounded by people leaving and thus less wear and tear.
Your grand kids will see the favelas and other Mexican bull shit crop back up.

interesting vid, but the more interesting angle to me is the comments saying, "i can't believe the nyt would publish this!"
it makes a lot of sense why they would when you consider the higher goals of the elite.
this video is basically saying that the progressives are being "bad" and not being fully progressive.
if you were to apply the suggestions of the apparent progressive guru/expert, then you'd greatly accelerate the progress to the dystopia that the elite desire.
in short, the video chastises progressives for looking out for themselves and their children. can't be having that in the world that they seek.

I was in Portland 23 years ago and there was hardly anyone around at all in down town, and it was *very* clean. All of the garbage cans were painted by local artists. I went to some really good book store there that a hitchhiker I'd picked up coming off the San Juan Island to mainland ferry wanted to go to. The other day I watched 2 vids, one being just a news crew showing a day on the streets of down town, which was junkies and trash everywhere. Another showed a news crew set up a truck with cameras to show how prevalent smash and grab has become. It said 10,000 vehicles were stolen there over just the last year. One woman has had her car stolen 5 times. Back when I was there it was, according to things I'd read in news papers of the era, "notorious" for being skin head territory. It was nice and clean, I know that much for sure.

you guys think this Ye shit is gonna change anything in the culture ultimately, good or bad? it seems like you have all of the people out there who know the fucked up nature of the elites who feel like they finally have a way to talk about it more publicly now where they've had to remain silent for so long, but at the same time the "normies", the leftist types who are brainwashed by the schools and MSM and corporations and believe whatever the government tells them as long as it's run by a leftist, are fighting back hard on this stuff.

like... are more people going to get redpilled over this stuff? or are (((they))) just going to use it to further push their agenda that basically all conservatives are just evil bigoted retards who are insane and dangerous, and need to be eliminated for society to flourish? because that's what Asmongold looks like right now. like, you say literally anything about jews, hitler, nazis, holocaust, anything like that and you're instantly labeled and dismissed. like, it's not about whether or not jews control the MSM or joe biden's cabinet being all or almost all jewish, it's that if you even mention anything about jews controlling shit and operating in a certain way based off of their holy book, you're branded and deemed insane and discarded. because you said the no-no words basically, which is what kanye is doing.

it's like black crime statistics. you show them to a leftist and they're like "oh you're racist". THEY'RE STATISTICS THOUGH. FROM THE GOVERNMENT. they don't say "well here are these statistics showing you're wrong" it's just "you said negative black thing so you racist, goodbye" like a fucking retard. and that's what's happening with the kanye situation currently it seems. not "is what he's saying true?" but rather "oh god he said the no-no words LOCK HIM UP! In America at least the solution is gentrification. Democrats will never support this because that means white tax paying families moving back in, and voting Republican. Fixing poverty is political suicide for democrats.
There isn’t a single prosperous majority African nation or city in the world, and there will never be one. Thus, the problem will only get worse, because the solution is politically inconvenient.

It's a combination of the US trying to roll back the tyranny the government rained down upon us in a backhanded way. Also we need china up and running for supply chain reasons, so locking down their population doesn't work for US. Lastly, supporting the protesters is just giving china the middle finger and helping to destabilize the country.

Liberals gave surrendered their minds go the government. They no longer what to be bothered with the pesky task of critical thinking, the government can handle that. So, long story short, no. Nothing will change the minds of leftists and therefore this is going to end up being a massive nothingburger that is just going to get Kanye suicided. Elon musk is in a similar situation. Even Bruce Jenner tweeted musk and told him that he needs to have a good security team because he's public enemy number 1 to the government. That shows just how corrupt our government has become when we all know people like them are going to not only murder them, but they'll get away with it and we'll all just shrug our shoulders because it's just another day. It's funny how Kanye and musk used to be heroes in the eyes of leftists and at the snap of a finger, the left turned on them immediately.

Inventory! Say I have a shop with $30,000 of purchased inventory that I plan to sell for $43,000 of the next month for a GP of $13,000. Less rent, payroll and other expenses (8k), that leaves me with $5,000 to pay myself. Now picture deflation where I buy that product for $30k but can only sell it for 35k, i have to come up with 3k to keep the business open for another month. No big deal in a single month. Now imagine having to drop your price each month or not sell any of your inventory. You now have the choice to close the business, or go down with it. 30% of businesses close, unemployment is sky high, and if the government cannot fund the unemployed, there is far too few dollars chasing far too many goods, and you have a deflationary spiral.

In addition economic theory says that if prices are falling, the consumer will wait to buy as long as possible to spend as little as possible. Further pushing prices down from lack of demand. I don't buy the theory. Animal spirits and such have more influence than inflation/deflation on spending.

Correct, in one month he'd loose money, and loose the next, his purchase cost would decrease, but as long as prices keep falling, so does the price he can sell at. He can only sustain it for so long. And if he has significant savings, the deflation makes what he has saved worth more, so why keep loosing money in a business when your $1M fortune (or whatever your "make it" number is) will buy more than it would have last month. So he rebuys the same amount of inventory for $25k, and sells it for $30k. He fired his one employee so he breaks even after expenses. Why stay in business to break even?

The fed isn't selling MBS, they're just not rolling forward up to their $35B cap. The cash is a liability to themselves, so it simply ceases to exist (money shredder), but they aren't actively dumping onto the market. They're still net buyers if more than $35B in MBS mature that month. Sometimes less than $35B mature which is why you get the irregularity in the balance sheet reduction.

Same applies to their bond portfolio with the $60B cap. Apparently they also hold tips which dampens the maturity shredder effect as inflation stays elevated.

Not disagreeing wholly, rather elaborating on the mechanics.

Same with Ferrari and Laborghini. Same with Porsches too, and there's so fucking many of them out there. Bentleys and Roll-Royce aren't really my thing. I don't like SUVs, so no real thoughts on Range Rover

there's a 2022 remake happening right now, or the one from the 1980s so depends on which you wanna watch.

i fucking hate BMW's. HATE. HATE. what's the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? on a porcupine the Pricks are on the outside.

never get a BMW unless you're the scum of the Earth. they're the type of people where you're trying to cross at a crosswalk and you hit the button that turns on the flashing lights and they still just speed through, even though they'd hit you if you just started walking. the cars that cut me off on the highway thinking they own the place? BMW. your call, OP. if you want to go to Hell, go for it. because that's where all BMW owners go, full stop.

I dunno if I was interested in getting a higher end car I'd go with BMW. Guess cause I like the look and cause it was shown so prominently in the later Bond films. (What? fan of the bond series to. I'd like a DB5, but god I'd be in constant fear someone would steal it..)

I had to think about it for a bit, but I think I get what you're saying.
Since these assets are loans, when they get paid back it wouldn't affect the size of their balance sheet normally, it would just go from MBS to cash column. But since cash is worthless to the fed they shred it and it reduces the sheet size.

Since the amount of debt they're earning from their bonds is more than their desired tightening amount, instead of selling on open market they can simply let the cash disappear instead of buying more.

the effect is still tightening the money supply but the mechanics are subtle. is that right?

i seriously don't know why you guys don't include TA among whatever other analysis you might do on any given trade you enter in to with real money. why would you be long since April 2021? maybe there was a case literally ONCE around that support level i marked, but once that broke? why would you be long?

2 moving averages. and basically just an oscillator that marks new highs or new lows. it's literally all right there and you are probably losing your life savings holding this shit. sad!
