expanding on Avalanche consensus has been relatively simple, meaning releases come regularly without delay.
it's better for marketing to have long drawn out and overly ambitious projects that you can milk hopium for years before abandoning and moving onto the next vaporware promise.
the more complicated and obtuse a project the better, more buzzwords, longer hype cycles.

This is pretty much why. It's only like that though because crypto has yet to truly fulfill it's purpose. When sensible regulation is put in place and institutions adopt en mass, that's when Emin's approach will bear fruit. Also their marketing philosophy is genuinely retarded, They think their tech "will speak" but don't realize 3/4 of the current top 25 are useless marketing vaporwares who delivered next to nothing for 5 years. Polygon unapologetically stripped away their "subnet" concept and even called it fucking "supernets", Which are technically a much worse version of subnets, yet Polygon was the one of capitalised on the hype and tripled in price

I believe they switched to this new forum recently. They used to have a different one but it was difficult to follow topics. Avalabs also does not believe in roadmaps and laying down every future plan in detail like dfinity does. It would be nice as an investor and just for curiosity sake if they documented publicly more but Emin has some valid reasons for not doing it that way.
Honestly though the discord has always been more active and you can shoot questions directly to the devs who generally answer if it isn't a super common question, like I said use the search feature first.

Yea all the subnet games who have actually released are pretty trash, there's some actual ones coming down the pipeline though that look cool.
Trader Joe is no longer just a uni fork with the launch of liquidity books. Legit defi innovation that is spreading back to ETH, can only encourage people to bridge to avalanche. Exporting innovation back to ETH is pretty cool to see.
