This illustrates how you can be "right" about something at the wrong time. Plenty of us have probably felt this throughout our lives.

The guy in this video was somewhat ahead of the time. Yes, society had become more liberal, but men didn't crave this type of content yet. It just felt like how their dad or uncle would act.

15-20 years later this type of content is extremely interesting to people because they haven't ever known someone like this.

Acting this way back then didn't have any real consequences. You might get stigmatized or your social circle would distance itself from you but you wouldn't be outright cancelled out of existence. Men have no natural outlets to air their frustrations anymore so naturally they start drifting towards radicalism.
