I did but ever since this bear market I have kinda just been driving more. To your lonely point, this last daisy chain Ive been on has landed me deep into the Midwest and I started in eastern PA and I've been having lots of fun out here because I can stop at more places on my way. The east coast fucking sucks and is lifeless because you are trapped to highway rest stops. Truckers are far more welcome in the Midwest too, drivers more considerate.

In today's day and age the hooker market is entirely online as one would imagine. But yeah it's real. I'll be in a park area and its so obvious lol, a little normal sedan pulls into the trucker lot and a skimpy dressed mess gets out and gets in the truck.
I've heard trucker stories from "back in the day" and some still hold true, like there's a rest stop in VA, along 95 between the BWI and Richmond where you can still find "escorts" hanging out. High traffic area.
Thankfully I have a few cool encounters in my travels per month it seems, and my charisma is high so I haven't had to buy my sex, but sometimes it does get painfully close.

It worked to get me out of wagie construction life. There are plenty of companies that will pay for schooling but they will keep you in a six month to one year contract. Study up on your pre trip and air brake test you’ll be alright.

If you are a good regular driver you will pick it up with ease. The issue on the road is that you are always compensating for other drivers being retarded. You'll have a dash cam, so make sure you always do the "right" thing as best you can and if anything happens you know everything is covered.
If you leave behind your home life for the road, you can make upwards of $10k in a month. I have come very close to that number so I know it's possible.
Also it's down bad, they need drivers like mad for all types of routes. But the real money is made on the long long routes, where you daisy chain trips together and literally just go wherever the routes take you.
