I talked to my banks chief innovation officer (big european bank) and asked him about the bank's blockchain projects and future implementations, it basically boils down to this:

>Their own blockchain projects for trade finance, insurance, etc.
>Hadn't even considered automatic accounting like REQ offers
>Won't come up with an own blockchain payment system because they wouldn't be able to compete with big payment processors
>They're waiting on SWIFT for this and are very bullish on their project
>Said he knew about hyperledger being centralized and SWIFT looking to work on a decentralized system
>He knows they're working with partners
>Had never heard of chainlink
>XRP will never be used by SWIFT banks because they'd have to commit to a whole new network
>I told him trade finance smart contracts aren't fully automatic yet as they still need real world data to be put into the system manually and he agreed

Do with this information what you will, it's all public so no big surprises. But seeing all of it together makes so much sense as to what you should be doing.

I know you're a basketball court cleaner LARPing as an investor but some of us actually meet people. I'm just relaying public info so be grateful.

Do you need to be spoonfed? Swift may have a partnership (or not) with chainlink, they're all racing to become the new standard, blockchain payments aren't enough to discern yourself from the competition, you need to bring more to the table.

If SWIFT picks another company, I'm ditching LINK and will buy that coin instead.

Another thing he talked about was using AI to assess damage for insurance purposes. Chainlink would be able to connect the AI's data to the insurance smart contract, which would allow for automatic compensation.

This is bigger than you might think.

If you're uncertain I'd wait to buy LINK, it's too risky. If they don't have any partnerships they'll go under. If they do however, they'll have a dozen use cases.

I pray that they do.

BAT and LINK are both years away from their goals
(I do believe LINK has a bigger goal)

>If they don't have any partnerships
They do. Sergey confirmed that he would rather not risk the relationship by releasing the info though, and he would let the partners diverge it themselves when they are ready. "Small teams will likely reveal it first" he said.

> a dozen use cases
By a dozen do you mean thousands and thousands?

Yes, this. It takes all existing blockchain technology a step further. Since I spoke to the CIO I truly see all the potential by connecting the dots.
