There's been a huge unwind the past month. Perhaps false hope that rate hikes are done and inflation is over.
It is true that hikes are almost done. However, that doesn't mean they'll magically revert to 0% yields overnight.

the big short is more factual, meant to give you general facts of what happened and the biography of some of the people involved.
margin call is more philosophical, less historical. its interest was in talking about the morality of how our economic system is run. the "bad" guys are humanized and given motivations to relate to. it was more of a classical play than a history.

It's not directly money printing, it's liquidity.
What has driven up M2 and the economy generally is leverage, lending, loans, based on historically low interest rates.
M2 has actually gone down this year, and not because of reverse repo per se but mostly because of high interest rates that have to some degree de-leveraged the economy.
QE is basically just the central bank covering the margin of the financial institutions that are deemed 'too big to fail'
QE never actually leaves financial markets, but what it does do is allow institutions to releverage by effectively using it as collateral until they are solvent again.

They own a key touchscreen patent that Samsung used as prior evidence to block previous lawsuits between them and apple over who had the original concept certain smartphone features like sliding unlocks. Personally I think it's hilarious that Apple tried to sue Samsung over something as dumb as "Slide to Unlock", and now it's gonna end up costing themselves billions of dollars in past infringements + future licensing. The ultimate irony would be if this lead to a permanent injunction on selling iphones in the US, but obviously it'll never go that far. There won't be any immediate payout. Neonode just won a countersuit, but still have to go through with their main suit.
