What are we suppose to do? Just had a meeting with my boss and told him i’m interested in moving up with the company…

I’m pretty sure I got gaslighted cause he told me I didn’t have the experience to move up but when I ask him for those opportunities he dismisses it and tells me to slow my roll since I need to be a manager to do those duties.

What the actual fuck?

if you're one of the best there's always work. offshore or international is usually more stable as well. but oilfield in general is always teaching the worms to have a rainy day fund and other good financial advice.

for guys without a college degree there still arent many better fields to get in
