AMC volume started declining after APE debuted.
GME volume significantly decreased somewhere around mid september into october which I believe lines up with one of those t+whatever post split dates.
If anything DRS has reduced the overall volitility but more than likely has not had a significant effect on anything as the hedgies dont care as long as they have a locate for their short and whatever FTDs they have. DRS will probably show a dramatic effect soon if the FTX token locate theory is correct as they won't be able to cheat with counterfeit locates.

People DRS amc shares too. It's not nearly as common or talked about but it does happen, so that's certainly locked down a bit of the volume for them. Furthermore after the reckless dilution and creation of ape shares specifically to dilute further when shareholders wouldn't approve another dilution, everyone with more than two functioning brain cells is out and it exists solely to fleece the stupidest of the stupid of their money. There's a functionally vast difference in the manner in which amc was diluted versus gme, and not admitting that means someone is either too stupid to listen to or has a reason to say otherwise. Thinking about taking out a third mortgage on my house to fund more GME shares. I haven't been home in weeks, and my family is dependent on my income for their survival. My money says it's really curious the US started their whole "cbdc experiment with banks that lasts three months" right when GME is about another quarter from being hopelessly and finally totally upside down on the short side - retail and insiders are at nearly 45% of all shares if you combine them with about ten million remaining to get to 51% which is majority control of the company, and given the public short information using the numbers from the shorts themselves there's only like eight million shares left until the amount held by retail and insiders makes it impossible from a fraud standpoint to actually close their positions without a squeeze as a necessary side effect.

My money says they rollout the cbdc knowing it will be widely hated, and handle that by not doing away with cash and just slowly phasing it out of existence over the next generation so people forget why it's important to hold capital or currency that cannot be controlled or denied use. That or they just throw the whole cbdc away and use ETH instead because normies haven't been programmed to hate it and since it's under US jurisdiction with most nodes in the US it's under state control and would presumably be nigh impossible to fuck with.
