Imperialism, the contradiction between nation state and globalisation, doesn't really work on this proxy level example of Ukraine. The West really fucked up by getting stuck in the Middle East and now Eastern Europe, two places they have desperately wanted to open up markets in with the end of WWII. Neither America nor Western Europe are going to risk a land invasion of Russia or even China, primarily because of the amount of nukes Russia has (and even China has). India has nukes and they seem sympathetic enough to China and Russia. Global tension could easily lead to a world war the likes of which we have never seen with nuclear submarines and more urbanised warfare.
China isn't experienced, sure, but they have really mobile forces that can get into buildings and urban areas easily, which is primarily where they going to be defending if the West ever invades.

> Big Crash Awaiting!
>Robert Kiyosaki, the author of the popular title Rich Dad Poor Dad, raised a warning that stock markets are likely to see the biggest crash in world history. Major investors also seem to factor in a recession, evident from the fact that major indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are down more than 20% and 30%, respectively so far this year. Further crash in stock prices will wipe out more money from investors’ pockets.

Why are they like this bros? Are they twisting the logic on purpose just for the sake of fearmongering? We had hude stock market bubble which deflated this year, and they are painting it as if it was business as usual.

>We had hude stock market bubble which deflated this year, and they are painting it as if it was business as usual.
The bubble has only begun to deflate, pic related. They are acting as if it were business as usual because it probably will be. Investment banks are trying their best right now to prop up the market until the Fed and Treasury pivot back to their printing spree. They assume this is going to happen because it's what they want to happen, and they always get what they want.

The only difference between a long-term bear and a long-term bull is how big you think the bubble of the last 13 years has grown. Without QE, would we be at $400 SPY? $300? $200? Is it just a few companies that don't really make any money, or is the entire economy fake and gay now?

See: stimmies and bazooka fed action took till 2022 to roll over into inflation and show the negative side to all the activity.

Now we have to wait for this impulse to fully flow through and they will hold higher for longer past all of that. Agreed. The uncertainty from China internal politics has been destabilizing for the stock market. True globalization, dividing the supply chain over a number of non correlated weak shitholes with younger, growing populations, will stabilize the situation and unlock a golden future of new gains.

I feel like a sore loser wouldn't be accepting what happens to him. I'm not going 'omg how can DRIP be rugging me?'.

Not sure why I'm defending myself so hard here or why I have to. His post was marginally useful. I wanted to take profit. I just didn't set up my order on the platform appropriately.

Do I have to repeat that I do not care about -$200? I've gone down over $100k in a day. The last thing I'll say is that I don't think dismissing borderline irrelevant/marginally useful commentary is being sore about the loss. I'm simply sharing what happened to me in the smg.

feels good, man. i really need to automate this shit so i can buy more shares with this shit. i can't do it myself because im a giant pussy and i know i'll disregard my rules if i ever go on a losing streak. i need a trading bot that takes emotions out of the equation completely, but i need to learn python to do that which i keep procrastinating even though my system works. feels fucking bad, man.

so basically i just continue to make like $20-50 a day on $1-2 risk depending on how long i actually want to stare at charts. but obviously that could be $200-500 if i traded 100 shares instead of 10. fuck why can't i just learn the programming, /smg/? why am i such a lazy piece of shit?

Both of those are near their all time highs heading into a global recession with unknown implications for earnings. No way I'd be investing in the stock market right now especially in companies that are priced near their all time highs. We're at the top of a bear market rally.

DCAing such a small amount of money at the top won't end well. Put it in treasury bills until the market has a deep pullback and then buy SCHD at a discount. Waiting for a steep drop is the only way you'll make something of that 6k.
