What if I told you that bitcoin will never ever reach $100k. And if it does, then it could take well over a decade. Just look at the indices how many years it took to recover from the dotcom crash. This is gonna be worse. You won't make it of crypto unless you trade up/down with high leverage.

Did you consider the effects of BTC halfing?
After all three previous halvings, BTC has never been below the point it was at the halving.
Next one happens in april 2024

I would agree with you but halvings are generally a sell-the-news event. Sure BTC goes absolutely parabolic a few months after a halving, but the price drops significantly for a few days after the halving.

bitcoin is at the end of its lifecycle. it was a nice coin to pave the way as first cryptocurrency, but it's already old tech and will likely fade away to be replaced by something that you can actually use. RIP yo will be mist

I made a quick chart of the past halvings and the price at the end of each "period".
It seems the X from one half to the next is roughly 20-25% the x it was last time
53 / 244 = 21,7%. 13 / 53 = 24,8%.
If it follows that trend with the next halving, it'll be about 3,25x higher than it was at the last one. Which means ~$28k

This is of course just speculation, but it's fun to see how it compares to the real result.
