Let's say I have 100 USDT and BTC is at 15k
I go LONG on it with 10x leverage
And I set the stop loss at 14,999. Take profit at 16k, 17k, whatever
Why has no one ever used this method to make infinite money?

Because stop loss will be triggered while you're asleep, then shortly before you wake up it will pump to your take profit price

Surely it'll help me make money once in a blue moon without going down to the stop-loss point?
I am too afraid to get my hard-earned money liquidated. I am kind of a poor fag.

you will get 100% hunted, and this isnt some sort of paranoic expression, i mean it, they will lower the price to your stop loss over and over and over again until you get drained out, THEN they will pump it up. if your method worked then everyone would do it for """free money""". Every single trader friend i made during the bullrun had "super safe longs they made at the bottom" of 16k, 18k, 20k, and so on, every single one of them lost all their networth, all they had to do was hold spot BTC in a cold wallet, when you read that 10 out of 11 traders get rekt, its true.

There was an anon who used to do this with 70x leverage with extremely small amounts. If he got stopped, he'd lose a 1$ if he hit, he'd make 20$. Honestly not a bad idea but you'll probably develop a gambling addiction.

>> No.52622284

btw they held those longs a really, REALLY long time, like 2 fucking years "my long is printing" lmao, you got fucking liquidated eventually. None of that shit mattered.

because that is not how trading works, you cant have a 1:1000 RR, you stupid nigger. Think of it like this, the likely hood of price moving 1$ AGAINST you is much higher than it is to move 1000$ FOR you. the further tp is away from your entry the less likely it is to hit. same applies in reverse for your stop loss.

What exchange are you using anon? I'd love to watch you try quickly. What could go wrong? Don't let any of these fudders get you down.

thats literally not how it it works.

by the time you factor in fees you're losing money on every trade.

Features always have fees

opening a 100usd dollar already costs like 5usd to open/close it on lower leverage

you would need to make a profit of at least 10 bucks to make it worth it
