For BC the vax pass was required for:

Near the beginning we made these things called confidential federal quarantine facilities - If you have travelled outside of Canada you are expected to provide proof of negative covid19 tests. You get one bar of soap for 4+ days etc. If you escape its a couple hundred thousand dollar fine plus 3 years in jail. You also can't use habeus corpus because you can't contact the outside world. The only way out is 2 fed gov administered covid tests after day 14 showing negative, each on separate days, so at least 16+ days inside there. Any refusal results in indefinite detention.

90% of the country didn't even know they existed. And once you did it was useless. You could not do anything about it. In fact the vast majority supported it. If people died some would have celebrated.

I was hoping to start my life finally, but I seem to keep walking on mines.
Getting delayed by a few years in my financial plan, then finding new traumatic events in my subconscious which resurface when I thought I was finally ready to go outside and face the world...

The worst experience was finding out I was unable to help a stray cat I care about because it triggered my past trauma...
A long time ago I started the habit of living inside my closed room to prevent my insane sister from coming in to attack me or steal and look for things to use against me in my room when I was not there.
She even attacked my pet while I was away in that time to the point it would start asking for help when she came close to my room.
The more I try to resolve past traumas, the more I seem to find new ones I had forgotten despite the bad impact they have on my life.

This results in the current situation where I keep everyone away from my home I consider my fortress and am afraid of trying to let a cat in because I doubt my ability to help it and to be a decent human being.
Maybe when I face this final fear and find the strength to live without a fortress around my heart I will manage to change something in my life.
