Will Algorand (ticker: ALGO) survive the bear? Why or why not?

>> No.52618532

>>52618434
I don’t really think it does enough to set itself apart and gain adoption. The developer rate on algorand is abysmal. And this is coming from a holder and fan of Silvio’s vision.

>>52618532
You don't think Algorand's dedication to the tech and real world adoption will prevail as things like Solana die out?

I don’t, there’s no adoption and although the tps and finality is high-middle of the pack. There’s nothing there to pull you to algorand. I post a development chart or current tps for algorand but it’s off the charts low.

The TPS is up there, so it's not like the chain is completely dead? It seems like the execs at Algorand have enough connections to keep it around for a while.

Tps- transactional thru put it different than developer adoption- but nah, algorand doesn’t have the thru out for instance to run a decentralized exchange- doesn’t have the thru put of visa by 300x. Compare Picrel- this is real-time taken a few minutes ago

>>52618688
Algorand supports 6k tps now, upgrading to 10k probably in 2023. But not all tps is created equal, e.g. simple value transfers vs. smart contract calls. Algorand can do 1k+ tps for AMM exchange swaps, for example. I think this is more than enough for what this space needs today. I also don't think TPS necessarily correlates to price action, which is all that I'm interested in.

Suit yourself. I believe the next cycle will be based solely on utility, with everyone now wise to crypto marketing- to me the next bull will be -show me first, already have adoption and a use case. I’m just not seeing it with algorand- again unlike the project, I liked gaining yield on my wallet, I liked tiny man and yieldly when they were a thing- but nothing sustained

Algorand has things going for it like El Salvador governmental records, Nigeria IP, Napster, Afghanistani e-payments, etc. Some are live already and some are coming online in 2023. Check out the tweet thread. I think Algorand definitely has a strong focus on utility

Yes, let’s talk about that anon. How’s the limewire ‘marketplace going’ since you mentioned it.
Picrel is the ‘number 1’ nft on that market place, 1 of 2 music nfts the rest are limewire passes. Minted 4 days ago, nothing sold. Nothing sold. Are you kidding me with this?

Users will be using the chain without even knowing it. Silvio said utility will replace speculation in this space, and he'll be especially right if we get regulations. Algorand is a good utility bet
