Is your job literally to get paid 70-100k yearly to make an app layout and use a lot of big words and spreadsheets to explain why it’s the best layout? How much of this job involves making shit up completely

I thought it was bullshit, but then I worked for a company with horrible UX/UI and they refused to ever see a problem, despite thousands of complaints.

no, you wanna know what's a bullshit job? "Product/project managers". Oh, and recruiters of course.

it's a tinker tranny job: make the UI dumber and worse with every iteration, to pander to a demographic that is increasingly lower IQ and brown.

True. Good UX/UI is often invisible to many, due to how seamless it can be.

There are people designing intuitive UI's for complex systems that absolutely deserve fat pay checks. Creating entire standards of who things should function.
Unfortunately, it also seems to be an attack vector for women who can't code and love DEI to get into the tech industry.
