i want a driving job but the thing is iam afraid of driving. I am terrified of merging onto the highway, iam afraid of other drivers, sometimes i feel confused at the intersections, afraid of ice or ending up driving against the traffic. How to cope?

for me it was always an anxiety of not knowing where i was going, id recommend getting very familiar with google maps. you'll learn all the tricks of the road, what lanes to coast in, what intersections/merge points people drive like shit in. which gasstations have the clean bathrooms.

it will honestly boost your confidence, i was the DD for my friends for years after that just because so many young people dont like the highway. felt good bro

Best way to work down your fears of driving is to challenge them and face them head on. I used to be scared of driving, took a very long highway road trip, and ever since then I didn't feel the same kind of panic about driving.
