Every day theres front page news about how crypto is dead and its only going to get worse, every normie is now gloating about how they always knew it was a scam. I know most if not all of the shitcoins actually do deserve to go to 0 but what about bitcoin? I'm sure theres a price where the hedgefunds will gamble and buy back in. Feels like bottom signals everywhere, but don't be hopeful of an imminent recovery. Nah. Quicker this time:

1. BTC itself actually has more of a cult around it than it did in 2018. Back in 2018 it still felt legitimately possible it could be displaced. This time you're not gonna have a situation where the money and attention that could create BTC price action is flowing into some shitty fork instead.

2. Crypto seems to have more innovative power than before. 2017 ICO boom saw a load of shitty ERC20 tokens, and then 2018-2019 showed the reality- the projects were nearly all either outright rugs, or their teams were utterly incapable of developing what they had proposed. But nothing really came along to replace them for a while (arguably until defi really took off in 2020). So what was there to get excited about, build a narrative around? Not so this time. Amongst the vast amounts of shit there's actual innovation, ready to form the next narrative.

Personal thoughts are that if we have another leg down, it will be as the current contamination resolves itself. Let's say the next six weeks unless something major kicks off. Then an accumulation in range, say no more than six months. Then steady escalation to golden bull. I absolutely do not believe we will range for as long as 18 months. The key will be to spot the next narrative early and jump on it.
