I don't think either are running with funds but given how trivial it would be to have that functionality it makes me wonder what the fuck they're doing with the tokens. I'm assuming it's so they can release the functionality at a time that doing so causes the least economic burden on them.

To keep their little scamfest running they needed to guarantee a certain number of validators and ETH staked. They knew there would be blood in the streets soon enough and couldn't afford to have people unstaking like crazy and handcapping the ability of PoS to continue running.

If crypto is not dead, you will be able to unstake next bullrun, otherwise you've already lost it all.
