> Not in Yield Samurai
High APR on stablecoins on Kava network.
Kava is the 12th largest crypto blockchain by TVL.
Offering 15.17% on USDT and 12.72% on USDC.
And incentivising the curve 3pool (USDT-USDC-DAI) for 13.6% APR.

Risks involved:
> Kava rug risk
very low, this is a CZ project
> Kava bridge risk (low but significant enough to take into account, do go all in)
> USDT exposure risk (low but significant, if possible avoid in favor of DAI, USDC, TUSD and BUSD)

High-risk high-reward can be the most profitable strat, but only if you have 2-3 hours per day to do it actively.
I considered ignoring this pool but posted it nonetheless, because people in that pool actually made a lot of money so there's something to be learned

Anything with insane volume will pump fees and apy...but I'm not willing to buy a rugged coin because next thing we know it goes from $2 to $0.10 and all of that apy was for nothing kek. It's still fun to notice though.

I'm farming gmx-weth (90% apy) and canto-eth (300%)

300-ish is amazing on a reliable coin.
GRT-WETH on Arbitrum used to be 1000+ for a month.
Yes, most of the 6-digit APRs are shitcoins or low TVL, but if you spend 30 minutes per day browsing through pools on yield samurai or new networks on defi llama you'll find amazing gems.

And it didn't exactly rug, either.

To discuss profitable DeFi pools, to help newfrens learn how to farm, and to share the most efficient strategies.
Unlike the early days of DeFi, most of the money now is made on fees instead of farming useless shitcoins with 0 value. That means that bringing new people to your current pool doesn't necessarily dilute your earnings, because the newfren will leave a lot of fees on the table to join in the first place.

I'd argue that a USDC-DAI pool on Uniswap v3 has a higher risk of you losing your private key than an actual breach.
If you have a NW of 10m+ then of course you're not going to farm with your money in stables (or crypto).
But if you are waiting for a good entry price, it's wise to get yield for your money that's in waiting mode.

https://yieldsamurai.com/pool/ethereum/0x524847c615639e76fe7d0fe0b16be8c4eac9cf3c

BUSD-USDC has yielded an average of 28% for the past 3 months on Uniswap v2. It doesn't get less risky than Uniswap v2, and the returns are quite substantial. You don't get yields like that elsewhere

Yeah, there's thing you might not take into account at first and you shouldn't jump straight into moving funds all the time.
Try BSC or Arbitrum or Optimism for the lowest possible fees. BSC is fine.

>> No.52532921

>>52532704
it's less about distinct chains and more about how many pools you're spreading yourself into. if you're starting out then there's no reason to spread yourself thin before you understand the varying risk profiles of different pairs. best to start off somewhere with low gas fees though so you know how the basic infrastructure works

True, but if you're going for max yields, you're going to take massive risks at one point, which means that proper risk management will require you to spread between 5-10 pools at least.
But for a beginner, I guess testing the waters first is fine.
I'd recommend a stablecoin pool

reading and trying to make sense of this stuff makes me feel like such a brainlet sometimes. Problem with this stuff and trying to learn anything via the internet is that sources are so scattered. Isn't there defi encyclopedia or defi For Dummies somewhere? Or do I just keep sifting through Medium blog post and the team's FAQs?
