I remember coming to /biz/ in 2014. I looked around for a bit, thought about getting into crypto and then left without doing anything. I didn't come back here until 2021.

How do you deal with the regret?

would have, could have, should have is a mindset that will only leave you with depression and even more missed opportunities. your time would be a lot better spent focusing on what lies ahead

I mined dogecoin in 2014, never looked back, lost my keys.

Bought my first btc in 2017, had like 1M in 2021 ATH, didn't sell.

After taxes I have left 150k in savings and 100k in crypto.

If I just sold my 1M I could have like 700k in some dumb stock with 7% yearly return and just chill for the rest of my life, cuckshit

oh yea I also think I read on bitcointalk in 2012, saw the early conception of litecoin(?), started mining btc there but my computer was so shit I couldn't bother.

I was here in 2014. I kept my money with Mt. Gox.

Even if you followed the advice here, you would probably have lost your BTC.

That's nothing. Been on 4chan since 06.
>Found out about bitcoin on /b/ in like 09. Just thought it was some computer nerd shit and ignored it.
>Remember a deluge of threads around 2011/12 whatever it was when bitcoin first hit $100. Anons were talking about cashing out to buy houses, cars, etc. I thought good for them for turning this fake internet money into something real, but it's smart they're selling. No way this stuff is worth $100 long term. Turns out I was right, just not for the reason I thought.
>In 2016 a friend of mine started getting into bitcoin and even bought half a coin. This was when it was like $600 per bitcoin. Not only was I still not taking it seriously, I thought my friend was a dumbass for spending that much on it.
>Finally, in 2021 after the start of the bullrun I started paying attention to bitcoin. Made my first foray into Bitcoin during the summer crash when it got down into the 30k region and thought I was a genius for it. Kept buying it all the way up to the 64k top because why wouldn't I? Everyone says this shit is going to 100k I'm not going to stop buying until it hits 75k. Continued to DCA all the way down, and all this year. At this point I'm more interested in lowering my entry point. Picking up more cheap bitcoin is just a plus.

It's easy to imagine what could have been, but I'm honestly not that hard on myself for waiting this long despite knowing about it so early. No one knew what was going to happen and there's a good chance I would have sold before it hit truly astronomical numbers. I think that would be much harder to live with than knowing about it from day 1 and just not touching it because I didn't understand it and was skeptical.

I remember the very early chain link threads and calling everyone retarded faggots and not buying

When you have 8 figures in a few years you won't regret not selling for stocks.

I was looking into setting up a very small long term mining endeavor around 2013. Too distracted with work and never got around to it. Then in 2015 thought about pouring a big chunk of extra cash into crypto and bought a brand new motorcycle instead. I could have bought a warehouse and become the Leno of motorcycles with that money if I'd have bought and held. Now I'm nearing 40, the best years of my life are long gone. Still poor and chasing the dream, fml.
