What are my options here? Do I buy a house and rent it out while I live the basement? I don't think I'm capable of working a 9-5 because I have anxiety

It's probably this along with being 35. Your anxiety is an excuse and you sound like a pussy who can't deal with having their feelings hurt. No wonder dad is pissed.

With 160K, you are going to have to work. You don't have to work with people, but you'll have to work at something. It will suck. It is scary to think about. Get over it.

Hire a teenager girl to fuck your dad, then blackmail him with telling to the police he's a sex predator unless he leaves you alone, make sure he feels guilty every single day of his life, make him miserable forever

160k, cheap house, not next to scum, 2k max property values a year, 15k a year, that’s four years of freedom ez if you full pay. Mortgage, 4.5%, 30 year, 20% down, a decade of freedom, easily.

get a degree or certificate from a community college. if youre a neet living in the basement, you should be able to get some financial aid.
go out, meet some people, then get a job with your degree or certificate.
better late then never

If I'm already nervous about it being able to back a truck into those delivery bays in the back of the store, do you ever get over that in training or is it too late for me?

Yes. A good school and good on the job training will train you well in that. Plus to get your license you have to learn it. Here are some pointers:
>Get out and look
>If you can have someone help then do that (standing on the outside and telling you how far you are)
>Get out and look
It took me a while to learn but it's easier than learning to ride a bike or code, desu.

I did the OTR trucking for a few years. Heavy equipment. Lots of over dimension and overweight loads. High risk, higher rewards. I did get burn out on it.

Had a trailer wheel snap off at highway speeds and bounce into the oncoming lanes. Luckily didn't hit anyone. I did everything correctly for my pre trip. Wheel bearing froze up, rim snapped off the lugs. Shit happens.

Didn't want to deal with that shit anymore. Had plenty of money. So I quit. Fuck it.

Yeah I should note I quit too I hated that shit. I just do local CDL B runs now.

Its a temporary job unless your name is on the side of the truck. That kind of investment is for a special type of people, though. Some guys can just grab gears and just live with the 80,000 or more pounds of liability rolling down the roads. No me.

Fuck the DOT. Fuck the electronic log books. Fuck the route and road taxes. Fuck the assholes that brake check you.

Build railroads and get assholes like me off the highways.
