This indeed scares me. for how long does the fatass have reserves left from the token sales? If he is paying 200-300k salaries to HR and recruiters, his funds might dry up quickly and he wont be able to get much from token selling again in this illiquid market. Chainlink needs profitable products soon, and it is not even sure it will get these at all. The future platforms: GNS and GMX are producing some profits, but not enough. Wtf will link enable for the network to rake in the money that will lead to a constant demand for the token at 100$ or more?

But if I had to start over I could not think of a better place to work at.

Even if I can't directly work towards this goal, I can at least help as an anonymous investor and it's fun to see Ari's tweets which make me feel like I am a member of their group.

This is a real concern. For those of you saying Chainlink has sufficient cash flow, then why is Sergey selling tokens at this low price? I’d token sales are their main source of funding, the current total market cap is not sufficient to fund all the development Chainlink needs to get to the goal line. They NEED the token price to go up if only to optimize these sales and build a succulent war chest to fund for the next 6-8 years. Given they are choosing to sell down here at these rock bottom valuations is NOT a good sign no matter how you parse it.

Partnerships.
Do you think Swift will use CCIP for free?
They want to profit from this integration too and the big partners you saw in the SmartCon all got an investment in Chainlink with a hidden multiple years vesting schedule in exchange for their collaboration.

We don't know at what price they bought the token OTC but the supply Chainlink moved to Binance after the announcement quickly disappeared in less than a month with no impact on the token price.
What's certain is that if I was in Sergey's position I would be willing to pay with easily 10% of my token supply in exchange for getting Swift's business and that would be a 10000 times better investment than SBF's "altruism".

I learned years ago Java for object oriented programming, and even shitty functional programming languages.

I hate object oriented garbage built for stupid and lazy developers, because it makes simple things more complex, and you can see in the compiled code how horrible it is when you generate a x10-50 increase in runtime with your "clean code" compared to something written with a direct language. This is why so many programs are slow and run badly.
When you call multiple functions to execute only one operation at the end nobody understands you know this shit is built for failure and exponential technical debt.

That's why I chose to work close to the controller because I wanted to understand and control what was happening instead of an abstraction layer hiding everything through a shitty compiler which nobody would want to use if they knew how bad it was at compiling while pretending to be smart.
Your garbage collection can't hide the fact that it's generating useless garbage just by its mere existence because the design is so horrible.

It's just an excuse for low IQ people to pretend they understand what they are doing despite having no clue what happens.

Swift announced their partnership OFFICIALLY 1 month ago and an existing proof of Concept.
The next step is testing and production.
No sane person running a business would waste time and wait for the last moment to make a proper deal with a partner.
If you want Swift's business now that a PoC has been made and demonstrated and a client wants the final product then you have to make a proper contract.
As a partner Swift also wants the success of Chainlink who won their incubator program 6 years ago and it's basic business to have a reason to want their success if you own their tokens.
Swift has a stake now in Chainlink and is serious about them which is why they appeared so openly in the SmartCon and didn't delete the threads on /biz/ like last year.
