Are we all going to hell for speculating on worthless tokens instead of working an honest job? Not to mention that most of us want to use the proceeds of our actions for extravagant pleasures.

Are you against capitalism? Because this "speculation" is the only price discovery mechanism capitalism has. If you don't like it, price will just be decided by the state, would that be preferable?

Hell is a personal choice, we only go to hell when we think we deserve it
I do worry about how Jesus flipped the money changers table sometimes
Crypto trading isn’t the best profession for soul growth and I try to donate food, clothes, and sleeping bags to the local food banks and churches
Other people have families they can give back to and that works
Money is just a tool and can be used for good and evil

The biggest problem I see is dishonesty, buying a coin and selling it for 10x, knowing that it's not possibly worth that much. You might be causing someone to lose their life savings.

Or the coin could go up and make them rich
Plenty of us have sold to early and left gains on the table

Literally all crypto is worthless just like all money. Crypto gains it's value because of the amount of human labor that went into creating the energy that crypto miners use. It is valuable as long as people sacrifice for it. Unfortunately, most crypto value investment comes from believing crypto is undervalued which if obviously is not. Crypto is in a massive bubble and has been for a while. You can either sell or lie.

Those gains come from even more gullible people who themselves will lose. It's like building another floor on a house that's suspended in the air waiting to drop.

>it's not possibly worth that much
Are you retarded? It's worth that much to whoever's willing to pay that much. Do you not understand the concept of capitalism
>nooo all prices need to be fair
Fair as decided by who? The government? I'd rather me and the guy trading with me decide what the price is, not you and the big guy you vote for. That seem more fair to me

I worked an honest job for years in the first place to get that money to speculate on worthless tokens. I just wanted a better life for myself and the people in my life. Admittedly, my intentions weren't 100% selfless. There were some luxuries and comforts that I wanted to enjoy for myself, but I tried to be generous with my time and gains by helping family with various construction projects, giving them money to start on other endeavors that might advance their lives, or just plain buying them gifts. Almost every attempt I've made at generosity has backfired spectacularly for me in one way or another and even had some unforeseen negative ripple effects on others. Not only that, but I've lost nearly everything after this blood red year. I was on the precipice of making it exactly 1 year ago and now I'm pretty much financially ruined

I understand your desire to defend capitalism, but please let me explain to you how (profitable) crypto speculation works.

Step 1: You corner the supply or acquire information that someone else has

Step 2: You or that other party pay influencers to hype your coin

Step 3: The sudden demand and limited supply creates a nice picture on the chart (green dildo) and clueless people buy into it

Step 4: The exchange itself co-operates because they like trading fees, so they support your coin with their bots

Step 5: You unload on the clueless customers

Step 6: They end up losing 90% of the money

The sin is that you know how this works

Bingo I lost everything thinking I was buying in low on coins that had bright futures or claimed to anyway only to do 80% drops over night.
I blame myself for gambling like an idiot but I didn't know better and now I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel and my life is way worse than it ever has been while others gloat about how improved their lives are even though they were already good to begin with.

It's tiresome and honestly after killing my future and likely ending my life shortly because of these events they directly assisted in my own self destruction and they will also in turn tell me to die while using my savings to fuel their hedonistic lifestyle.

I came here happy and hopeful and left bitter, violent and mentally crippled.
