>> No.52479052

>>52478932

exactly what I meant. Before you can even start making money from your capital you have to grind for a bit wagecucking. The first 100k almost all your gains in NW will come from stacking cash from a 9-5, then when you hit 6 figs the market starts to help you out a bit. Once you hit 100k you will get 7k a year from SP500 avg returns, 200k will get you 14k, 300k 21k/yr, and so on. Once you hit a mil, your NW might increase by 100-200k just from market movements in a good year, and decrease by a lot in a bad year, but in the long run it's average a positive return of 7% inflation adjusted.

I went from 50k to 170k an was ecstatic. Then went back to 40k and was depressed. Then bounced to fucking 1,5MM, but let most of it bleed out like a retard. Somebody always needs shit done. If you're in the right area and you own a mini excavator of sufficient power (minimum a deere 50g imo) you will have work for that thing all day every day and you'll have a waiting list all summer. Thing is that if you want to make money you have to do your own transport, which means owning a fairly big truck as well, to move out to sites. The excavator is about a 120k machine new and the truck maybe 40-50k used.

The attitude of these 2 posts (and 90% of biz) is why the saying "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient" is so true. It took me losing it all two times to find out I'm manic depressive I had suspected it but it's like stepping into another body then waking up and realizing you just murdered your family.
