I recall a single game causing the network fees on AVAX to skyrocket during the bullrun. "Subnets" aren't going to save AVAX from what it truly is - another dying ETH clone. Remember previous cycles with eth clones (neo for example)? Those eth clones never go back to ATH's again.

Also add in the fact that AVAX is inflationary up to 720 million total so that makes it much harder for it to reach ATH again.

I use AVAX since its inception
never had problems, or all problems (gas fees) where fixed - its cheap and extremly fast with 1200 validators

many large DeFi protocols are on Avalanche like AAVE, Curve, Stargate, Beefy
then there are gems like benqi, platypus, vector or yeti
hidden champions like cian or arable

but if you you relate current TVL to node requirements AVAX should cost around 1$
