Boomers are woefully out of touch and they live in a bubble created by their decades of selfish prosperity while everyone else has to live in the aftermath. They have no idea what kind of rude awakening they’re in for when their businesses all collapse for good in the coming decade.

Inflation hits businesses as well, particularly smaller ones. They are probably just deciding its best to wind up trading at current prices than burn more capital trying to keep it going for another year.
