Business models that depend on silver for their operations to function will be buying up silver at any cost and will blow the fuck out of the banking industry that is forcibly suppressing the price because the quantity being mined at this price is creating scarcity. So they will be FORCED to price out retail. Tesla is far too big of a company to just lay everyone off because they can't find silver at $20 an ounce. They make too much money and will bid up silver to whatever the hell price they need to to keep operating. They will even blow-out the banking system and COMEX looking to suppress the price if they have to. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for shilling Bayhorse. I casually endorsed it one time, in the middle of an effort post on a different topic. It was only a week or two later that I changed my mind about the stock, decided that it looked like it was topping out, and lucked into taking a small (~$50-$100) profit. You might have bought my bags.
However, I find it hard to understand how you might regret buying physical silver. If you look at the premiums that retail products are commanding, their prices have hardly ever been much higher over the past few years. So, its not like you really lost hardly anything by being a bit early. Also, there aren't many assets that increased in dollar cost over the past year, so it's not even like you experienced significant opportunity cost.

Metals have always been an absolutely trash “investment” and anyone telling you any different either makes money selling them as such or has been brainwashed by the aforementioned.

You will not find a single asset class that has not absolutely blown gold and silver out of the water as an investment over the long term. People buying gold and silver today will be lucky to even break even after premiums within this decade.

I buy physical gold and silver cause it makes me happy to own. Sure it’s a store of some value like holding cash but it can appreciate vs cash though I am under no illusion that it is a prudent investment vs stocks and bonds over the long term cause it’s absolutely not cause it has zero yield and a high tax rate.

You need to get creative and weight up your costs depending of the nomad lifestyle you're trying to achieve. If you're going to be bouncing between many different countries all the time, then you will need many different types of fiat anyway to live that lifestyle. The idea that you can live on pure gold coins traveling around the world is complete fantasy at this point. When you've established your locations, set up safety deposit boxes in those countries and store your gold in them. I imagine nomads who are making a fortune on the go do just this.
