I do uber eats, high volume means I get more meals to take a nugget or few chips from. My grocery bill is like, 80 bucks a month

I like my job. I get to zip through traffic on my Piaggio to bring $60 hot chips to wagies. If a few don't make it, they won't notice. It's just so fun

All these delivery apps look exactly the same from a customer's perspective, are they really all that different to the contractors doing the delivery?

UberEats was forced to admit that they are selling customer data, so now they are going all out and tracking everything they can about people who use their app.

I'll never forget the uber eats australian open free big mac promo. All you had to do was pay delivery, but you could just remove the big mac and get something cheaper. If you replaced the big mac with a hot fudge sundae they delivered it to your door for free

Its no wonder these shit apps are shutting down, they must be bleeding money

Some of them work as soon as you tap start, others you select scheduled shifts. There are vast differences in the usage rate based on areas / deals etc. E.g. I tried doing uber deliveries and was getting about 1 every hour and half from the local (very busy) McDonald's. But the deliveroo guys were coming and going constantly. It's because amazon has something like free delivery if you order over 25£ worth of food at McDonald's and I think they're running that with deliveroo.

It's not really all too economically viable. I made about 4.50£ on average at the busiest times.

Just Eats support desk is 100% jeet/musgrimbolo. They were supposed to be sending me a bag over a month ago. Paid for it. Never turned up. They keep saying they have no record of an account despite seeing screenshot of it. Then they confirmed it was being sent out. Now I still don't have it. Escalated to will report to bank. Now they're supposed to be refunding it stating it hasn't been sent.

You'd be better picking your own food up. There is a significant delay on the for delivery order preparation because they use it as kind of infill work between dealing with customers.

Sometimes I lift the burger bun or bread, and take a bite of the inside too. Bit of a tuck and I can hide the evidence so easily.
Usually it's arancini, a wing, single stuff that you'd blame the restaurant for forgetting. I even pinch the sauces my fridge is full of them kek

I used to live in an inner-city area where a lot of the delivery jeets rode regular bicycles. On super hot days I would order bubble tea from a shop a pretty decent distance away because I enjoyed the idea of them suffering in the heat but not being able to take a drink. There was nothing quite like it when they would turn up with the bag sometimes even just dangling from their handlebars, sweating away and knowing that I'm about to have some delicious refreshing fruit tea.
And before you ask, they can't drink any because it comes sealed with plastic from the shop.

The food is cold, it takes 20 minutes longer than expected, there is always problems with them finding your house, have to walk down the fucking street to find them, orders are always fucking wrong, and yeah the shit is way too expensive.
I'd rather go without eating than have to get ubereats.
Although back in 2019 ubereats was based for the simple fact you could just claim constant refunds and they;d pay back into your back account no questions asked. Ate free for a few months lmfao.

I know they're not profitable but
How do investors get their money back?

Also feels good buying small orders of food (5-10$) to generate consumer trudt then always creating fake tickets for refunds when buying 25-40$ worth of food and getting away with it.. basically eating for free.
Also never tip
