I clocked in 25 minutes late again at my wfh job. How am I not fired yet?

>> No.52450416

You should be ashamed that people are judging you for your unprofessional behavior even more than the fear of being fired. The Nipponese people are totally right in this respect.

>> No.52450447

Just stay 25 minutes later lmao how is this an issue unless you had a meeting schedueled?

Mr. Andersen, we are a serious company.

For most companies, strict time requirements aren't implemented out of necessity, they're implemented out of a desire to control and micromanage. Same reason why a lot of companies won't even let you work remotely, even though the job doesn't require you to be on site for any reason whatsoever.

That just means those companies put more emphasis on bullshit rather than productive results.

As a result the wrong people are promoted just like the Sovietunion and will eventually collapse as they have 0 creativity. Short them with x100 leverage it’s literal free money.

As long as you produce quality work, get along with your team, and on time for schedueled appointments no one should care.

I used to show up at the office at 10:30-11 for months on end. There was no formal "clocking in" but my boss eventually had a word with me. Asked me if everything was OK and why I was showing up late. He said some people in the office noticed I was showing up late and it might be demoralizing for them. I usually stayed later than most people (although not late enough to make up for showing up late). Started showing up on time after that and then quit a month later.

In other words, some busybody faggot coworker bitched to him about you. God I hate coworkers, nothing but jealous little ghouls. Literal crab-in-a-bucket mentality.

Honestly, since wfh started in 2020 I have been gradually working less and less. It's gotten to the point where I only attend a few meetings per week and write the most necessary e-mails. Realistically, I am working maybe 10 hours per week, tops.

Don't feel ashamed if you can get away with it. Just make sure they don't find out.

Anon I tried to get fired this way and it never happened. I waited until we had a business meeting and I got up from the table and pissed in the trash can beside the table and sat back down like nothing happened. After the looks of disbelief faded they asked me why and I said I was just marking my territory. Instantly fired. No regrets.

Nope. They terminated my department a month ago just to see what would happen, then realized "oh shit, we need a technology department to handle our broken ass database" and tried to hire me back on for a slight pay increase, but would not allow me to work remotely even though there is literally nothing about the duties that would require me to be on site. The servers aren't even on the company site, so I would be managing them remotely... from the office... for some reason, instead of anywhere else... Told them to fuck themselves lol

Maybe I've just gotten lucky so far in my career, but I've never had a job where showing up 20 minutes late was an issue. Nobody ever said anything as long as I stayed 20 minutes to make it up. The only exception would be if I had an important meeting at the beginning of the day, which was rare.

No one cares unless you work less than 8 hrs. I've worked for some really gay companies and even in person no one cares if you're a little late as long as you stay late. Note that the reverse situation doesn't work - you can't come in early and leave early because all your fellow wagecucks will only see you leaving early and will cry about it to management

>> No.52456294

what type of job? Some barely even notice if you show up or not. Once, I didn't show up for Monday and Tuesday, didn't call or anything, and no one said anything to me when I showed up Wednesday, not even my managers. That was a desk job, shit is so menial managers barely notice if you're therr or not.

I put my bottle opener in my keyboard for hours on end and i get compliments for always being online

I was literally getting a blowjob from my GF, someone wrote something to me. I switched to busy and proceded to fuck her for 1 hour more.

Then told the other cunt I was in a meeting.

WFH is great and our productivity actually Rose so imagine how unproductive Office is

That being said I worked at a big 4 accounting with wfh and I was always getting meetings and requests so it was even worse than the Office
