SpaceX success was the result of the right idea at the right time, and without anyone else getting there first.
Getting a 9 engine kerosene rocket to reliably work would have been difficult in the past, but it opens up a lot of options (ability to land and hence re-use, lower cost to manufacture engines, etc).
Musk had nothing to do with the concept of Falcon - he was looking for something to do post Paypal, starting speaking to people in launch industry and had the concept fall in his lap. Potentially it was his lack of industry experience that meant he was willing to go for it, someone more experienced might have been more risk-adverse when told "lets build a 9 engine rocket".
Falcon 1 was meant to prove the engine first then move to Falcon 9, but after it repeatedly failed it was abandoned and they gambled the company on Falcon 9, which ultimately paid off as they'd learnt enough on Falcon 1 failures to avoid a repeat.
I'm not doing him down - he had the will and boldness to make those investments and calls. But Musk does best when he finds an idea that someone else has a concept about and then takes over and pushes it, not his own ideas.

Look at the last 3 years with COVID, everything the MSM said as a mouthpiece for the WHO and CDC was wrong. Everything.

Having a related background I knew the MSM talking points on pandemic risk, transmission, vaccine efficacy etc for a SARS virus were all wrong but saying so publicly would make me branded a conspiracy theorist nut bar. Not only were we misinformed but to think otherwise was ridiculed and considered dangerous…. Until it wasn’t.

We need alternative platforms to combat this dangerous groupthink. Even if it is wrong it is still better to have other voices and criticism and critical thinking.

elon is always talking shit about regular citizens and normie journalists, thinking he's king shit spreading bullshit, calling them pedos, whatever.
and always gets away with it, maybe has to delete the tweet at worst.

then he tried to fuck around with billionaire investors.
turns out things go a little differently when you do that.

But nice of you to provide an example of exactly what IS wrong with mass media: simplifying things to the point of dishonesty.
Which is what MSM did regarding vaccines and masks.

>Even if it is wrong it is still better to have other voices and criticism and critical thinking.
This is correct, but it must be moderated.
On any given matter, there is only 1 truth, but there are an infinite number of falsehoods.
The truth gets drowned out in a diarrhea sea if you just let every faggot state their "opinions"
Critical thinking is good. Nurses going to city council meetings sticking forks to their skin to prove they've been magnetized is not.

FTX literally funded fake shitty studies to smear ivermectin lol.

You clearly are an idiot if you think the media was right about "muh horse dewormer".

Also the first example you gave about HIV isn't necesarily a good one. We still don't know how HIV provokes AIDS, and I'm not an expert on the subject but Fauci was behind both the covid hoax and the AIDS scare, and I've heard it's the shitty "vaccine" they gave to HIV people that killed them in the first place.

I have a friend who's been a programmer at Twitter for about a year and half, and he put his two weeks notice in. There was a Q&A done for Twitter employees with Musk, and someone asked why he thought that rescinding WFH was going to change anything when so many teams are spread across different states and even countries. He said:
>Let me be crystal clear, remote work is only going to be for exceptional employees and it's a high bar. If you're able to come into the office and you don't, then your resignation is accepted.
The employee said that his response didn't answer the question, and Musk ignored it.
He's a retard cause he didn't even list measurable KPIs for to compare before vs. after WFH is effectively removed from Twitter. It's just pathetic.

How exactly does this work in your mind? Why would you need a FAKE study to make Ivermectin look bad if covid is fake?

>Also for covid we were supposed to believe some gay chink ate a bat that fucked a pangolin,
It's an airborne virus. Why would you need to eat the bat or fuck the pangolin to get it?

No, that's what twelve year olds said on the playground because it was funny. Blood-to-blood transmission in a country where monkey is on the menu is the common suspicion.

As we can see now that we've had time for the studies to run their course, MSM (except for FOX) was indeed correct on Ivermectin.
Here's a sample:

>Ivermectin literally outperformed by placebo
https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2797483

I'm sorry, but it is retarded to oppose an idea purely because MSM promoted it. Focus instead on whether the idea is correct or not. They got many things wrong, but this one (and others), they got right.

This discussion is a perfect example of how unmoderated "discourse" does not eliminate groupthink.
Yes, it allows a set of intelligentsia to develop a more accurate picture of reality.
But the retards still engage in groupthink, only they just split into many groups instead of staying in one big retard group.
